Syndetics Unbound & Catalog Widgets

The WLS Evergreen catalog uses Syndetics Unbound to add content about materials (primarily books) to the public catalog including:

read-alikes
series information
author information
awards
tags

Each library has one Syndetics Unbound account that can be used to create website widgets of bookshelves and carousels. Syndetics has widgets that can be cloned to a user’s account and modified if desired. Some widgets update automatically, like the New York Times Bestsellers widget, and others are topical, relating to holidays, genres, etc. Custom widgets can also be created.

Widgets must point to the Aspen public catalog, either the WLS default catalog or your library’s instance.

In each widget, in Advanced Settings > Custom Link URL, replace the existing URL with one of those below, save, and update the embed code on your website.
