Description

A list of items where the circulation has been marked as “claims returned”, indicated by the stop fines reason CLAIMSRETURNED. The report includes: Item Owning Library, Shelving Location, Call Number, Title, Author, Item Barcode, Stop Fines Reason, Stope Fines Date (date marked claims returned), Patron Barcode, Checkout Date, and Checkout/Renewal Library.

Usage

“Claims returned” items remain on patron accounts as open circulations, in the Items Out > Special/Other Circulations tab, until the items are checked in. Use this report to identify those items owned by your library and take necessary steps to resolve the open circulations.

The related report, Claims Returned Items by Checkout or Renewal Library, can be used to identify items your library checked out and marked claims returned.
