Fortunately, we have access to information and places to look things up – after all, we are libraries. That’s one of the purposes of this IT wiki: we can refresh our memories and verify detailed information that may have changed since we first learned it. For instance, the Patrons page offers guidelines for eligibility, patron (profile) types, and exceptions to the general guidelines. The Items page outlines general policies for item checkouts, renewals, fines and fees, and more. You can search for a topic or browse the menus. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Put it in the comments, send me an email, or give me a call, and I’ll point you in the right direction or add to the growing lists of FAQs. After all, the more we add to our knowledge of our ILS and technology resources, the better we serve our patrons.
