What’s all the hoopla?!
hoop·la
(ho͞op′lä′, ho͝op′-)
n. Informal
Boisterous, jovial commotion or excitement.
That’s one definition, but Hoopla is also the new digital media service for WLS patrons. Patrons can access eBooks, eAudiobooks, music, movie and TV videos, and comics and graphic novels on their desktops or mobile devices. It’s easy to use and provides instant access – with no waiting! Library cardholders may borrow up to 5 titles per month on their desktops, tablets, smartphones, and even Apple TV and Chromecast. Patrons can find plenty of help and support on the hoopla website, and staff can use this Hoopla Launch flyer to welcome patrons to the service. Whether you want to help a patron find a hot audiobook, an engaging ebook that everyone in your book group can access, a perennial juvenile favorite, or a popular music soundtrack, hoopla offers lots to explore!
