Q. How do I set a default printer?

A. Any network printer can be set to a default so that it’s chosen as the usual printer.

  1. Go to Start> Devices and Printers
  2. Right-click on the printer that you want to set as a default.
  3. Click Set as default printer

Q.  I know it is recommended to use a different browser for searches, so I started using Firefox.  However, the favorites disappear every time I log off.  I seem to remember there being something we had to do in order for the favorites to stay there, but I don’t remember what to do.
A. Set up a Firefox account, using your WLS email address. When you log into your VDI session, open Firefox, log in, and right-click to the right of the address bar to add your Bookmarks Menu. Once that’s done, you can add and follow bookmarks to your heart’s content.
